Job Overview

Our Construction company is looking for a Boilermaker to be a part of our team. You should be able to read and interpret blueprints for the boiler positioning, dimensions, and other details before starting your work. Besides, you should be able to shape and assemble boiler parts as per the instructions provided to you.

As a Boilermaker, you should also be able to monitor functioning of the equipment used. You should be able to clean vats with appropriate brushes and chemical solvents. Moreover, you should be able to install and upgrade boilers to match the industry standards and environmental safety guidelines.

To perform in this job role, you should display excellent physical and mental stamina. Furthermore, you should also be able to long for work hours and under extreme conditions. Your ability to demonstrate strong mechanical and technical skills will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Designing and installing boilers into facilities

Reading and analyzing blueprints for boiler location, dimension, and positioning

Preparing and presenting accurate maintenance documents

Shaping, fabricating, and assembling boiler parts as per the instructions

Cleaning and maintaining pressure vessel equipment

Monitoring proper functioning of the equipment

Welding together various boiler sections

Attaching safety valves, water tubes, and pressure gauges

Building tanks for chemical and oil storage

Examining and repairing structures such as blast furnaces, smoke stacks, and water treatment plants

Cleaning and maintaining installation equipment

Reviewing and replacing defective parts

Cleaning vats using chemical solvents, brushes, and scrapers

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent field

Holding formal apprentice training

Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Boilermaker, Pipe Fitter, Welder, or a similar role in the Construction industry

Familiarity with the various welding and fabrication equipment

Excellent mechanical and technical skills

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and technical drawings

Excellent physical and mental stamina

Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual

Ability to work for long hours and under extreme conditions
