Senior Oracle Developer (093772)

Responsible for interpreting business and functional requirements to develop application solutions for the corporation’s core business needs. Develop complex programs based on Oracle technologies that can integrate seamlessly into the overall system. Responsible for quality of all Oracle deliverables that involve code reviews, unit testing review, system testing and UAT to analyze the adequacy and applicability of the system output and serving as a source of programming technical advice. Communicate interdependencies across multiple teams within area, drive convergence across these teams to ensure smooth functioning of the teams.

The position develops/codes based on technical design specifications, using as tools primarily Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle PLSQL technologies, Oracle Designer, JavaScript, Extensible Markup Language (XML), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). The developed software application will be used for the corporation’s core business needs like accounting, billing, claims, defaults, Quality Assurance (QA), Underwriting etc. The position develops automation jobs using Oracle PLSQL programming language and the jobs will be integrated with Automic Applications Manager (AppWorx) scheduling tool.

5 years progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience as a Software Developer, Technology Lead, Oracle Application Developer, or related oracle technology based development experience.

Must include some experience with: Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL, PL/SQL; Oracle Applications (HRMS/Finance) ERP, Linux; MS SQL Server, Oracle RMS; HQL, ETL, Hive, Cassandra, Kafka; and PVCS.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Foreign equivalents accepted.
