Job Description:

As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of our motel and restaurant. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.

Guest Satisfaction: Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction by implementing and maintaining high service standards, promptly addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and continuously improving the guest experience.

Staff Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of hotel and restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize revenue generation through effective pricing strategies and upselling opportunities.

Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract guests, increase occupancy rates, and promote the restaurant to both local and visiting customers.

Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as required.

Quality Control: Maintain high cleanliness and maintenance standards throughout the property, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.

Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community, actively seeking feedback and implementing improvements based on suggestions and comments.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

Education: A university degree or college diploma in hotel management or related program of study.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel management, with a strong focus on operations and guest satisfaction.

Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards achieving common goals.

Hospitality Knowledge: Solid understanding of hospitality industry standards, including front desk operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.

Customer Service: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to exceed guest expectations.

Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management, with the ability to analyze financial reports and implement strategies for revenue growth and cost control.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with guests, staff, and suppliers.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure and address issues promptly.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to ensure smooth operation of the motel and restaurant.

Salary and Benefits:

The selected candidate will be offered a permanent full-time position, with a competitive salary of $33 per hour (35 hours per week).
