Our client company is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to provide tools, resources, and environments that support safe, efficient, healthy behaviors and encourage employees to proactively manage their health and wellbeing.
You must be willing to:
• Develop/implement/monitor/enforce EHS programs/policies/procedures
• Research/develop/implement the most effective EHS action plans to reduce hazards/improve overall metrics
• Maintain safety/health recordkeeping systems
• Conduct internal EHS audits/inspections
• Utilize a variety of industrial hygiene monitoring/sampling/analytical equipment & instruments to evaluate chemical & noise exposures
• Conduct accident investigations (root cause analysis/develop corrective action plans)
Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY):
• High School/GED (BS/BA preferred)
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910
• Experience using Microsoft Word/Excel in a professional capacity
• Team management/Workers' compensation/OSHA/Case management
• Employment & Labor Law/Root Cause Analysis
• Complete government mandated reporting
• Minimum 1 year in an EHS related field
