General Description
The key areas of responsibility include:
• Responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical
components and systems on furnace controls, mechanical machines and in-house
facilities
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
• Panel and equipment wiring for manufacture of new equipment.
• Panel and equipment wiring for upgraded equipment.
• Local field service for new and already installed equipment.
• Local electrical Installation of new and existing equipment.
• Electrical maintenance of all company electrical equipment.
• Electrical and system upgrades to company equipment infrastructure.
• Manufacturing of thermocouples and heat fuses.
• Local commissioning of new equipment and upgraded equipment.
• Safe working electrical practices at all times.
Other Responsibilities
• Productivity – follow formal/written and informal/verbal instructions and
procedures as the above processes may change.
• Ensure that Good housekeeping practices are followed.
• Health and Safety – wear the protective gear issued to you while you are working.
• Coach and guide electrical apprentices.
• Follow any lawful instruction requested by management.
• International commissioning and field service – as required for commissioning and
on-site work.
• Ensure materials needed for jobs and projects are kept safe
