Chemical Mixer/Blender $17hr

The Chemical Mixer/Blender coordinates materials needed to prepare daily batch mixes. Completed mixes are stored in totes until packaging of the product is scheduled on the production line.

Hours are:

2nd shift (10 hrs) 3pm to 1am

Essential Functions

Ability to read and understand basic work order instructions and scheduling

Understand steps required to complete work orders and label requirements

Must be able to perform in process testing to ensure material conformance

Perform visual inspection of all mixing equipment

Responsible for cleaning work area (wash down machine, scrape down mixer lid, tidy work bench, discard trash)

Perform basic preventative maintenance on mixing machinery

Ability to read and understand work order and scheduling instructions

Maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure continuous production

Knowledgeable of basic formulations and able to mix independently

Must adhere to all PPE requirements: safety glasses, respirators, work boots, and any other PPE required

All other duties assigned

Required Education and Experience

The ability to read and write in English (Required)

High School diploma or GED (Required)

Prior manufacturing experience (Required)

Prior batch mixing experience (Preferred)

Experience with PLC’s (Preferred)
