Senior Accountant

Qualifications for Senior Accountant:

Filipina, graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, preferably CPA

With 5 to 10 years work experience in contracting company.

Have knowledge on Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable, and capable of finalizing up to Trial Balance/ Profit and Loss Account and Filing of VAT as per schedule

Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation

Prepares Bank Reconciliation, journal entries and other related reports.

Knowledge in Peachtree is an advantage.

Manage all accounting transactions

Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

Audit financial transactions and documents

Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization

Good communication skills.

Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks are required
