POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Manager to join the dedicated Merger & Acquisition Services practice of one of our client CPA firms. This individual will join a team of professionals that provide accounting/financial pre acquisition due diligence and structuring services to private equity investor groups and strategic buyers and sellers. We assist our clients from deal strategy/planning through deal consummation. Our objective on every engagement is to assist our clients in minimizing risk while maximizing transaction value.

Responsibilities for this manager position include:

Work on buy side and sell side financial due diligence engagements

Ensure matters and issues are identified and communicated to engagement director/partner and client

Identify trends in operating results, cash flows, quality of working capital, assets and earnings, potential liabilities and exposures

Participate in marketing/practice development initiatives

Education Required:

4 year degree required

Licensed CPA

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Five to seven years of experience with a public accounting firm and the following qualifications :

Acquisitions and divestitures

Financial audit

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to travel 20%
