Job Description:
• Product owner of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), accountable for their performance, quality, and reliability throughout the product lifecycle, aligning with business objectives.
• Enhances products, processes, and components to meet predefined objectives, optimizing for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Redesigns products or components as necessary to align with cost targets, address component obsolescence, and fulfill evolving customer requirements.
• Actively contributes to new product introductions, ensuring manufacturability and supply chain compatibility, facilitating prototype development, conducting reliability testing, and managing the transition to full-scale production.
• Supports the seamless transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to mass production, maintaining quality and efficiency at every stage.
• Collaborates with quality teams to address customer feedback and manage out-of-box defects, conducting thorough investigations and failure analyses as needed.
• Partners with procurement and technical services to enhance and sustain product quality and manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performs troubleshooting, repairs, and provides disposition in cases of excessive failure rates or escalated issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
• Directs the activities of third-party vendors and partners to ensure compliance with contract specifications and achievement of performance targets.
• Engages with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of parts and materials, fostering strong relationships and driving supplier performance improvements.
• Manages ERP data related to bill of materials and routing, ensuring accuracy and completeness to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, with experience in FPGA applications and ASIC development.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in the context of PCBA production.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in ERP systems and data management preferred.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in PCB design and assembly.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
