Electrical engineer needs 5+ years’ experience
Electrical engineer requires:
Hands-on with: circuits, wiring, assembly, testing, and handling of products to form complete solutions.
System Architect, Other EEs, Mechanical, Compliance, Product Management, Manufacturing, field service, and vendors
Block diagramming / 1-lines (Visio), CAD (SolidWorks), SKM Power Tools, Oracle, web tools, 3-phase power generators/loads, precision power meters.
WW compliance (EMC, safety), WW electrical systems, data center concepts, mechanical design / 3D modeling, NFPA 70E, Arc Fault, HVAC systems.
Good working knowledge of AC/DC circuits, single & 3-phase (600V or less) power systems, and communications concepts (10baseT networks, RS232, CAN, USB).
Electrical engineer duties:
Design and have oversight of Micro-DataCenter (MDC) and Edge products, with emphasis on the electronics, switchgear, electrical codes (NEC, IEC), and refrigeration concepts.
Work with System Architect, Mechanical Engineer and Test Engineer to meet specified product objectives and requirements, illustrating them at a conceptual level (block diagrams); creating various elements of the product (schematics / 1-lines, harnesses)
Integrate subsystems into the larger system; bring up & debugging of prototypes; addressing various safety and noise (EMI) issues that may arise; driving products into a production-release state and working with the Test Engineering groups to validate specifications and assure products are properly tested in the manufacturing phase.
