The requirement is for consulting / guidance work on data center (DC) builds with the objective of preparing data centers for TIA certification. The work includes:
• Validating the work done by contractors (cabling, racks, power, various equipment vendors, etc.) and that they should follow the reference model – this can be onsite work;
• Making recommendations / solutions whenever there are deviations; and
• Leading a team of site supervisors who will be on the ground conducting checks and validation.
Preferably, the resource has experience on TIA certification with be a plus. Some skills and/or experience required:
• Experience in design and deployment of data centers including MEPF – mechanical, electrical (with power), plumbing and firefighting
• Knowledge / understanding of TIA data center standards and infrastructure technologies
• Knowledge of network cabling including Ethernet standards, fiber-optic cables and transceiver
• Experience with cabling systems installation and best practices, including bulk fiber-optic cabling installations
• Experience with installation and planning of infrastructure within the data center
• Understanding and validation of design documents and documentation
