We are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst with a background in accounting and financial analysis for our site in Pewaukee, WI.

We are a dynamic Finance team dedicated to customer focused solutions to our business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for primarily preparing and maintaining accounting records and financial planning and analysis for decision support.

In this role, you will question & analyze financial results and dig into issues that appear questionable. Be Able to perform causes and effects analysis of operational results to correlate the financials and the business performance. Understand the “why” behind the financial results. Possess ability to perform “what-if analysis” when necessary. Assist in identifying operational opportunities by thinking “outside the box”. Possess ability to work effectively with non-financial personnel. Comfortable doing “search & discovery” work where the answer is not clear.



Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

Assist with month/quarter/year-end closing activities (journal entries, reserve calculations, inventory valuation, intercompany reconciliation, etc.).

Reconcile Received Not Invoiced account and propose adjusting entries

Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

Develop and document accounting processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Record acquisition, movement, and disposal of fixed assets and track idle assets.

Lead fixed asset count process and ensure accountability of CIP and fixed asset accounts.

Support physical inventory counts by working with warehouse team to reconcile proposed inventory adjustments.

Planning and Analysis

Prepare monthly report on financial performance, including sales and margin.

Assists in rolling up P&L, balance sheet and cash flow for monthly forecasts.

Develop reports to capture key information from ERP System through BI reporting and system reports.

Conduct Analysis of standard product cost.

Assist in providing analytical support to operations teams.

Job variance tracking, research, and review

Reporting of plant KPI’s

Material price changes

Support the annual budgeting process.

Spot errors and opportunities and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.


File state and federal taxes, including sales and use taxes.

Support audit requests from internal and external auditors

Effectively implements and follows-up on assigned projects and deadlines.

Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance

3+ years of finance/accounting related experience within a manufacturing environment

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures

ERP and Accounting Systems experience

Required Skills:

Advanced Excel skills with large data set experience.

Good communication both written and verbal.

Desired Skills:

Business Intelligence (BI) reporting.

Understanding of cost accounting.
