Hiring a Civil Engineer for Company.
Coordinates closely with designers, consultants & Contractor’s engineers to ensure that permanent works are properly coordinated with other disciplines.
Provide engineering design/construction/commissioning consulting support to the development team in several projects, including project estimate costs, schedule, and basic engineering.
Provide technical assistance during the pre-bid stage, consultant and contractor selection, design proposals and construction bid evaluations, and coordination during construction bidding.
Review engineering design packages to ensure designs meet project standards and specifications. Originate and carry out engineering studies to determine potential problems and remedies to existing problems, resolve complex technical problems and increase revenue.
Reviews contractor-submitted shop and as-built drawings, materials submittals, procedures, project schedules, and work permits; and coordinates with the concerned departments for obtaining their approval and/or their comments.
Reviews project quality assurance and quality control programs, inspection and test plans, installation, testing, and commissioning procedures, and provides comments for transmittal to the contractors.
Prepare and review cost estimates and material quantities.
Arranges meetings between all projects concerned parties during construction.
Organizes, coordinates, and conducts in conjunction with the concerned department's acceptance inspections and re-inspections of the completed permanent works until all deficiencies are corrected and signed off.
Reviews and provides guidance in problem areas, recommends solutions, alternatives, and improvements, and performs investigation of material and system failures.
Coordination with other utilities and disciplines.
