A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCTION NIGHT MANAGER

As the Production Night Manager, you will oversee employees to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations.

Responsibilities:

Hires and trains production employees.

Organizes, directs, and oversee night shift process ensuring all Framing/Embossing employees are working by priority, date and organize/match all corresponding work orders.

Consistently and correctly move product through the Framing/Embossing departments to ensure on time completion.

Check quality of parts and consistency of overall product. Read and compare ALL work orders with corresponding product.

Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.

Ability to learn Scodix digital printing press and the operations, to understand new workflow in embossing

Ability to learn production systems and operations in DCSC, MAS, and Planet Together

Follows and makes sure all employees are adhering to safety procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Associates degree in related field or equivalent industry work experience required; Bachelors degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

At least three years of supervisory experience highly preferred.

Thorough understanding of safety, regulations and policies.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Ability to work efficiently across a variety of tasks and manage time appropriately for projects.

Collaborative working style with positive attitude and enthusiasm for making great work happen!

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
