The IT Infrastructure & Security Manager will be responsible for leading the data network and architecture functions. Responsibilities include supporting the IT networks, tools, onsite and cloud platforms (Cisco, Checkpoint, Riverbed), identify new tool sets, define and document architectures, research and recommend new technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead network operations team, embrace ownership of network operations.
Support existing networks, tool sets, and maintain availability of 99%
Patch, update firmware on regular schedule.
Create change records to support system modifications and outages.
Developing meaningful metrics to reflect the effectiveness of network systems.
Communicate with vendors on routine cadence.
Creating and track documentation which reflects software, hardware, license, maintenance expirations, and alert notifications.
Ability to be adaptable and flexible while working in a dynamic environment.
Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners globally.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Attend and contribute to global team meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
INFORMATION SECURITY CENTRIC ACTIVITIES:
Create network and security bulletins.
Track and report on health of network tools.
Define new architectures and document existing IT & security architectures.
Ensure processes are current and maintained.
Provide subject matter expertise in network, security and systems architecture.
Perform configuration reviews and audits of network & security configurations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of network architecture and network operations processes.
Knowledge of network tool sets and processes.
Ability to multi-task, coordinate and plan in fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, problem solving and creative thought-processing skills.
Experience with project management and governance.
Experience implementing and maintaining ISO27001 certification.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. 10 years’ experience with network & security operations in a global environment. Professional certifications such as the CCNA, CCNP, CCIE and ISO27001.
