Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

4 week contract position + extensions

Start Date: ASAP

Work Location: Downtown Toronto

Hours: 40 per week

Hourly Rate: $26-32 per hour

This position will be at a long term care facility. We are looking for an RPN who has a flexible schedule is able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is located in Toronto, ON and will require some driving. Why work in Toronto? Toronto has been ranked as the fourth most liveable city in the world. It is a large urban center which has something to offer everyone. It has friendly locals and is filled with beautiful parks and plazas.

The ideal candidate must have a flexible work schedule and should available for 7 days per week which includes every other weekend. Shifts can include day shifts between 7am-3pm. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-paced environment. Individuals considered for this position will be patient-oriented and goal directed. You must have the ability to work with geriatric patients and be dedicated to fulfilling patient needs. Having great communications skills is an asset along with the ability to answer patient questions. Candidate will need to check on patients and make sure their needs are fulfilled.

Candidate will be given appropriate PPE in LTC and will be kept informed in regards to COVID-19 cases within facilities.


• 1-3 years of nursing experience

• Current certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN)

• Knowledge of Immunization guidelines in Ontario

• Proficient computer skills

• Must be CPR certified

• Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high volume, demanding work environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrates customer service skills

• Possess the ability to perform required daily tasks

• Must be able to work individually and in a team environment

• Ability to work in stressful environments

If hired on for this position, we would need: Negative COVID-19 Test Results within the last 7 days, VSS, Offence Declaration, Credentials validation (license documentation)
