Client Relations Manager for top tier global law firm in Washington D.C. This position is responsible for working with attorneys to expand client relationships. Some of the Responsibilities for this position:
Training/coaching relationship managers to meet established benchmarks and implement industry best practices for key account management.
Coordinate meetings between relationship managers and key clients.
Identify opportunities with individual clients and connect appropriate firm lawyers to pursue these
Analyze industry, client, and legal data to proactively identify potential client needs.
Coordinate new business generation efforts with current and new clients supporting business strategy and targeting initiatives across practices/industry sectors.
Prepare client pitch materials, such as responses to RFPs, and conduct prep sessions with attorneys prior to client meetings. Track win/loss record.
Utilize Market Research team to analyze market opportunities and to assist attorneys/groups in preparation for client meetings.
Maintain and track client feedback interviews and assist with follow-up.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus. Must have at least five years of experience in professional services marketing and business development. Proven success in marketing and business development. Prior law firm experience. Experience with a client feedback program and involvement in client targeting/business generation initiatives preferred. Experience conducting client feedback interviews ideal. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and initiative. Success working collaboratively while managing tight deadlines and competing priorities.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
