Head Of Accounts (Doha-based candidates)

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Open to applicants who based in Doha only;

2. With NOC/transferable sponsorship;

3. Preferably, fluent in spoken and written Arabic

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting;

2. Familiar with QuickBooks;

3. Knowledge in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Research Results, SFAS Rules, Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry Management, General Math Skills;

4. Preferably, Certified Public Accountant or similar certification;

5. At least 5 years work experience in the same position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Oversees all activities of the Accounts Department and is involved in the supervision and management of general accounting activities, analyses, business partnership, and the maintenance of effective internal controls while ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives;

2. Supervision the day-to-day operations of accounting department (Receivable, Payables and General Accounts)

3. Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions in QuickBooks and files.

4. Recording, classifying and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

5. Using various software applications, such as QuickBooks and relational databases.

6. Bringing attention of the management any abnormality in the disbursement of funds and transactions.

7. Computation and payment of staff salaries, operating and other company expense on a monthly basis.

8. Advising and assisting financial control.

9. Reconciliation of bank statements.

10. Advising on improvement of financial management system, internal control system, the use of financial management software QuickBooks.

11. Cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing.

12. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial & budget execution reports.
