WHAT WE SEEK:
An energetic career orientated individual with inner drive and initiative to go the extra mile. You’ll use a consultative sales approach to build rapport. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving new B2B and B2C business from incoming calls and contracted companies referrals. Customer base includes DOT mandated companies, second chance/union employers, drug and alcohol testing companies, and nuclear facilities. The successful candidate will develop new business through taking employee sales calls for sustained revenue growth.
This is not a call center environment, but it is an Inside Sales position where you will be calling upon warm leads….NO COLD CALLING.
•Performs functions pertaining to the sale of ASAP B2C services, triaging employee calls, following up on inside sales leads, accepting inquiries from individuals and companies referred to ASAP, explaining services and related costs, conducting telephonic intakes, sending contracts, processing payment and providing guidance on DOT SAP regulations
•Generate B2B leads through triaging employee calls in order to contract companies creating more referrals
•Interface and engage the Account Management team on customer service issues to ensure positive ongoing client relationships
•Develop sales prospects by cultivating internal and external networking partners, participating in industry associations, using direct marketing and telemarketing, in addition to personal prospecting and market research
•Satisfies sales goals by identifying, securing, developing and creating new business through research, analysis, personal contacts, consultations and leads from established channels
•Participates in appropriate marketing efforts
•Follows up on sales leads generated
•E-mails or mails general marketing information
•Operate within Department budget
The right candidate should meet the following:
• A minimum of bachelor’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 2 years phone sales experience preferred
• Excellent communicator with telephonic, verbal and written communication skills
•Detail orientated individual
•Exceptional and demonstrable business style customer service
•Bi-lingual Spanish/English speaker preferred
•Ability to multi-task, organize, and successfully prioritize workload
•Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
•Ability to strategize, persuade and negotiate
•Ability to successfully build a network of contacts
•Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
