Overview

To provide digital development services, leading and undertaking web-based project activities and supplying expertise on digital, web and business areas as required. To contribute to Solaire’s initiatives such as building roadmaps for web-based solutions. To utilize digital technologies to develop POC’s to gain Business support as to what is possible in this digital age. Take the current processes and develop innovative digital initiatives that will drive efficiencies and revenue generating opportunities.

Responsibilities

Designing, coding, and unit/integration testing applications & systems in a range of software languages across multiple platforms.

Working with stakeholders to evaluate IT applications and equipment requirements.

Ensuring that systems are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design and systems security standards.

Working with users and other Architects, particularly on larger projects, to design and develop the requirements of a solution and specify an optimum design for subsequent development.

Interfacing with end-users and all levels of management to translate business requirements into appropriate IT related specifications (functional specifications)

Meet with user groups to gather and analyze end user requirements.

Analyze workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement.

Prepare material and providing training and assistance to end-users following implementation and for on-going improvements in application usage

Work as a crucial component of a project and delivery teams responsible for enhancing existing systems or developing new systems.

Developing operating and system documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information management or equivalent

3-5 years of relevant experience

One or more of the following certifications:

o AWS Certified Developer – Associate

o AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

o Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate

o Google Professional Cloud Architect

Developed and implemented mobile-first applications in a hybrid cloud environment using the following frameworks/platforms:

HTML, CSS

Angular 5+, NodeJS using ExpressJS

Boostrap, Angular Material

AWS services (S3, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation, Cognito, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB)

Good understanding of relational database concepts

Experienced application development in a Continuous Integration environment.

Implemented Test Automation solutions

3 years system design, IT infrastructure and database concepts

Strong understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle.

Outstanding ability to analyze, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of business process.

Passion for both service and technology.

Demonstrates a can-do attitude and willing to learn and work as a team
