Title: Warehouse and Financial Systems Support Specialist


The Warehouse and Financial Systems Support Specialist supports and maintains the IT related systems and software applications for the Distribution Centers and Master Distributors around the world as well as supporting and maintaining the various financial systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide overall support of a warehouse management system (WMS) for one or more sites.

Provide overall support of financial applications for the corporate site.

Request/test/implement changes to WMS and financial applications that will support and improve processes.

Execute rollout of technology at new facilities or upgrades at existing facilities, coordinating and testing system changes and documenting the outcome

Instruct users in the proper and efficient usage of the system(s) and notify/train users when hardware and/or software changes occur

Troubleshoot hardware and/or software applications malfunctions and errors, as well as user problems, resolving them or escalating as necessary.

Interface with internal and external technical staff to define application solutions

Provide local systems knowledge and support to business stakeholders

Prepare written materials that document activities, events, systems, and architecture of WMS Systems

Carry out the installation of computers, equipment, printers, and software

Support yearly physical inventory process

Minimum Job Requirements

Detailed understanding of logistics processes and techniques

Possess basic knowledge of PC and Server hardware

Possess basic knowledge of WAN/LAN/WLAN technologies

PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Possess excellent organization, communication and presentation skills

Be flexible, self-motivated, proactive and results oriented

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical users (very important)

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests to ensure timely response to the users

Experience & Education

Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience to include WMS configuration and support in a distribution center environment with familiarity of RF systems and equipment

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of SQL Server

Ability to write basic SQL queries is a plus

EDI is a plus
