Duties: Support assigned customers to maximize 3DS Solution value by demonstrating the 3DS product functionalities and contributing, through product expertise, to the solution implementation and deployment success. Interpret the customer requirements and demonstrate the product value to define the appropriate methodology documentation (e.g., create requirement specifications). Manage initial positioning, creation of technical application usages and ensure accuracy of collateral provided to the Customer. Conduct or contribute to a proof of concept (if applicable). Support end-users on the use of 3DS Products. Ensure liaison between client and 3DS R&D to ensure timely resolution of issues raised by client. Activate brand offering by creating simulation inputs off-site. Capitalize on project deliverables to ensure reusability. Manage and act as facilitator for Client’s interface with the DS support organization. Provide production support triage and root cause analysis support for licensed products under the Client-DS International Master License Agreement as per Client-3DS support models. Respond to, manage and facilitate resolution of Client’s defect and non-defect support requests on DS licensing. Understand and explain the implications of Client’s server configurations on various platforms to Client or Client’s designated contact. Create, implement, and execute jointly established processes with Client to coordinate deployment of hot fixes and code drops. Coordinate hot-fix delivery between 3DS R&D labs and Client. Provide updated production support process documentation as required. Participate in and contribute to addressing issues related to 3DS licensed products during upgrades.
Requirements: a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a directly related field, plus five (5) years of Product Lifecycle Management experience. Experience must include:
Three (3) years of experience with the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- CAD Data Modeling and design methods
- PLM software applications troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- PLM software applications use case definition and documentation
Two (2) years of experience with the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Enterprise applications installation, setup, and configuration
- Solutions training or mentoring
- Remote management of an offshore team
Six (6) months of experience with the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Customer's Product Lifecycle Management systems, including interfaces with DS CATIA V5 applications.
- Specific customer process and PLM environment knowledge, including integrations with competitive PLM data management systems.
40 hours per week. Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM.
