Senior Learning Experience Designer:
We are looking to hire a forward thinking, senior Learning Experience Designer to facilitate learning experience consulting sessions and produce learning materials for a variety of fast-paced projects on key client accounts. This person should be someone who is comfortable speaking with clients and must have prior experience working with large corporations. Confidence and the ability to listen to a client’s issues, ask strategic questions then prescribe potential solutions is key. This role will be on-site in San Diego, CA.
-Work closely with Learning Experience Designers to incorporate technical requirements into overall design processes, and make key recommendations for designs that meet objectives and reach a high-level of client satisfaction.
-Work closely with LXD Leadership to establish and implement best practices for learning design process and communications.
-Ensure integrity and scope of learning design through the duration of project.
-Troubleshoot and implement solutions throughout the learning design process and proactively manage changes in project scope.
-Work closely with eLearning Mind’s Project Managers and Creative Directors to set client expectations and schedules.
-Assist sales and marketing teams with client scoping.
-Work with ELM’s internal consulting team to conduct Learning Experience Design (LED) sessions with clients.
-Along with existing Senior LXD, manage select group of contractors to ensure all projects are fully staffed and LXD phase is completed on time.
-4-6+ years of ID Consulting experience ideally with Fortune 500 companies.
-Masters in Learning Design/Learning Technology preferred.
-Experience creating design documents, storyboards, assessment questions and narrative scripts.
-Fundamental understanding in the various learning methodologies including Action Mapping, AGILE, SAM and ADDIE.
-Experience working with graphic designers, interactive designers, and/or web designers.
-Experience using digital learning authoring tools Articulate Storyline and Rise, Apitierre Evolve preferred, but not required.
-Experience using various Learning Management Systems (LMS) and be able to speak to the different features offered is a plus.
-Experience with Design Thinking and User Experience methods is a plus.
