Security Clearance Requirements:
The Software Engineer Position requires access to higher level classified data. The individual hired must possess a Top Secret (TS) Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance with access to Special Access Program (SAP) data.
The Candidate shall provide knowledge and experience in the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software, including familiarity with software V&V processes.
Researching, designing, developing, modifying and maintaining enterprise-wide systems and application software
Designing and coding software components, units, and modules that meet product specifications and development schedules
Collaborating with hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems and working with them to resolve incompatibilities
The position will have an emphasis on code documentation and code supporting documentation (e.g. user manuals, V&V, etc.)
Troubleshooting problems and providing customer support for software operating systems and application issues.
Shall be capable of using GIT/Gila to manage and control software source code repositories, baseline product releases/deliveries, and all associated documentation.
Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
10+ years’ experience in software development with 5+ years specifically utilizing C++ development preferably in a DoD environment.
The candidate must have worked with it and have a good understanding of coding design patterns/structure.
The candidate must be able to work independently.
Code analysis experience is not required, but is a “plus.”
GIT LAB and GIT HUB (configuration management tools) experience is desired.
