Advertising Editor

Job Duties:

• Consult with team and clients to understand their needs, develop a vision for the pursuit video and its delivery method

• Support the development of a video script (review, edit, finalize and obtain approval)

• Shoot and edit video footage in keeping with the pursuit plan timeline.

• Review final video with teams and support further refinements necessary

• Continually strive to improve quality and the company’s brand through high quality video production

• Ability to operate independently

• Provide direction to design team members in the development and implementation of graphic and audio elements needed to fulfill individual project requirements

• Collaborate with editors, producers and other designers to resolve technical or design challenges on-and-offshore

• Work with external vendors to secure video assets as needed

• Plan, organize and direct the artistic aspects of production

• Oversee the design of sets, costumes, furnishings and props

• Organize and co-ordinate production

• Interpret scripts, select the cast and advise in the interpretation and delivery of the performance

• Determine lighting, lenses, camera angles and backgrounds

• Determine treatment, scope and scheduling of production

• Co-ordinate and direct the photography of production

• Operate broadcast equipment to produce audio and video streaming broadcasts for the Internet

• Set up, prepare, operate and adjust audio, recording, editing and reproducing equipment to record, edit and reproduce sound input

Job Requirements:

• A university degree or college diploma in the performing arts or broadcasting related field or a minimum of 5 years of video production experience

• A strong eye for visual composition

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teaming skills

• Strong knowledge of post-production workflow and the latest video production techniques

• Solid understanding of video, formats and compression techniques

• Familiar with various types of cameras

• Proficiency in mainstream software, such as AE, AI, PR, Photoshop etc

• Familiar with WeChat.

• Those with experience in the medical aesthetic field will be moved to the front of the line.

• Marketing experience is considered an asset but not required.
