Description: The HUB Team Lead will be knowledgeable about intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and related services, including waiver and non-waiver services. The purpose of this position is to support individuals who work directly with the IDD population, including but not limited to: Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authorities (LIDDAs), providers and families.

The HUB Team Lead is in charge of the programmatic functions of the unit. This includes providing technical assistance, organizing educational opportunities, leading case consultations and organizing community events. Leading meetings and collaborating with other divisions, agencies and LIDDAs are key components of this role. This position requires a moderate level of budgeting principles.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. Occasionally, may require a flexible work schedule.

The Candidate we are looking for is:

Energetic and motivated to work closely with LIDDA staff in support of helping the IDD population live meaningful lives in the community

Has knowledge or experience in mental health, crisis services, IDD diagnoses and behavior plans.

A self-starter and enjoys having a career where no two days are the same.

An effective communicator, with excellent writing and speaking skills

Organized and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.

Detail oriented and excels in documentation, time management, and delegation.

Timely and responds effectively to deadlines.

Skilled in Microsoft office applications and can easily learn additional software skills.

Most importantly, someone who is looking to make a difference in peoples' lives.

Education: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field is required. Master's degree preferred.

License: Must be licensed as a LBSW, LMSW, or LPC-I, prefer LPC, LCSW or LMFT. May be provisionally licensed but must be fully licensed within six months. Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with some flexibility required.

Salary: $55,602 annually.
