STEAM Instructor

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced teachers to join a fast growing after-school program called iCode. We teach computer science and robotics and equip young minds with the skills to think critically, solve problems logically and imagine endless possibilities. We are moving past old-school teaching methods and are committed to offering the best learning experience for kids, teenagers, and even adults. Serving as an educational incubator, we allow students the opportunity to design and develop their best ideas into viable solutions; mentoring and providing funding to bring ideas to the market.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

Must have experience with school age children and related programs

Teach computer and programming concepts to students ranging from 3-8 grades

Provide weekly reports about students' progress in the class

Guide students through the projects and activities in the lab

Attend periodic meetings with the Director, Parents and Content Developers

Provide meaningful feedback about class material and student dynamics

We will provide the right candidate with all training and support to learn new skills and succeed in teaching the classes.

Flexibility to work during early evenings and weekend hours

Full-time shifts may be available over the spring and summer breaks.
