Role One (1) Business Analyst 3 (BA3) January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2019

ALPS Project SHARPP Rewrite

Requirement Description: short description on what they will be working on, objectives, and tasks/deliverables BA3 to support the rewrite of applications by gathering and documenting functional requirements, validating existing requirements, and driving the creation of a sustainable documentation process to be used for the project as well as for documenting any future changes to the system. This resource will also participate in test case creation and execution, and User Acceptance testing process management.

This is canned statement with hours, background check and interview date/time During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check conducted by ODPS.

12. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Visio and Project.

13. Self- motivated, results driven, and commitment oriented. Builds strong working relationship with SME’s, Development and QA teams.

14. Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to clarify business requirements.

15. Assists QA team defining test strategy, acceptance criteria, bug fixing and issue resolution.

16. Knowledge of UML diagrams- business model diagram, process flow, flow charts etc. (should be familiar with MS Visio).

17. Maintain project plan, issues log, action item log, meeting agenda, meeting minutes and other artifacts as required to do job.

18. Collaborate with development team to create design specification in business requirements. (Capture additional requirements based on design, capture global rules for system consistency).

19. Experience in coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

20. Assist with end-user training and create any training artifacts if needed.

Mandatory Requirements/Time 1. Six (6) years verifiable experience as a Business Systems Analyst within the past eight (8) years.

2. Six (6) years experience eliciting and defining system and user requirements through observation, interviews, and analysis.

3. Six (6) years experience working directly with end-users to define requirements and provide technical advice and assistance in a large-scale environment.

4. Four (4) years experience translating customer needs into formal business requirements.

5. Three (3) years experience interviewing non-technical end users to determine and document current business process flows.

6. Four (4) years experience in Business Process Re-engineering.

7. Four (4) years experience using Visio to create business process flows including standard flowcharts and swim lane diagrams.

8. Three (3) years experience creating test conditions, test cases, and test scenarios.

9. Four (4) years experience analyzing end-user needs and conducting fit gap analysis.

10. Documented experience as a technical Business Analyst from project initiation through completion on a minimum of two (2) software development or implementation projects requiring a minimum of two thousand (2,000) Full-time Equivalent (FTE) hours to complete.

11. Documented experience using project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project or Clarity) to develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) on a minimum of two (2) projects.

12. Four (4) years experience using a business requirements tracking tool for recording and prioritization of business requirements.

13. Documented experience in systems process and data mapping, requirements gathering, and analysis as well as proficiency in the creation of detailed documentation.

14. Needs to show at least 1 experience with a large organization as ODPS.

15. Needs to have used AGILE in one organization

16. Needs to have used the Agile Alignment within BABOK in at least one organization.

Desired Skills/Time 1. Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server to document requirements and collaborate with other members of the team

2. Experience working as a Business Analyst in a DevOPS environment

3. IIBA certification
