W\e are in need of a mid-level SQL Database Developer with SSIS AND SSRS skills for our client in Clearwater, Florida. This is a 3 month contract right-to-hire position. Candidates must be able to convert to a full time employee at the end of the contract without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship.

Implement and maintain standards and procedures to ensure that the company’s database designs and development principles are sound.

Develop, review and test database objects, stored procedures and functions in a multi-server and multi-database environment.

Implement data models, database designs, data access protocol and technical database specifications based on business or functional requirements

Data analysis and trouble-shooting, data conversion and database deployments.

Work directly with clients, end users and technical staff to support the company’s applications and operational data needs.

Consults, educates and advises end users of the various organizational data sources and the tools available to access them.

Works directly with potential users of data, developers and technical support personnel to anticipate and plan for developed data access methods, security and utilization controls.

Work with minimal supervision and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Work effectively individually and with a team of individuals with varied objectives and perspectives.

Develops and documents current or new database programming and design techniques.

Identifies impact of database designs on existing and future systems.

Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of company databases.

Resolves database integrity and performance issues.

Provides status reports that give a detailed description of the current tasks and indicates time devoted to each task.

Participates in development of detail design and design walk-throughs with appropriate focus groups and related users to verify accuracy of design in meeting business needs.

Respond to ad hoc requests for support and analysis.


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.

At least 3 -5 years of SQL database development experience including SQL Server 2012 & 2008 and T-SQL..

Must have strong knowledge of SSIS and SSRS.

Knowledge of database programming and relational design concepts in support of interactive and batch systems

Ability to translate business requirements and defined rules and produce viable, robust technical solutions that take advantage of RDBMS technologies in a heterogeneous environment

In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts and the enforcement of referential integrity

Solid development and testing of queries, stored procedures, functions and integrated database components

Can support job executions and data synchronization across multiple environments

Familiarity with industry standard software development lifecycle techniques including water-fall, iterative and Rapid Development concepts are required

Knowledge of data modeling techniques, notations and tools.

Ability to review the code written by others for correctness and efficiency

Ability to document database designs, process and data flow diagrams and data conversion specifications.

Ability to communicate and influence technical decisions based on defined standards and policies

May be required to be available to be on call from time to time

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the health care industry as well as security concepts governing Medicare, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and SAS-70 directives a plus.
