Job Title: IT and Marketing Specialist

Job Duties

Note: This list is not exhaustive and more duties may be assigned day to day.

Oversee, monitor, and address all computer, printer, or network issues and deploy new systems as necessary.

Check and fix time-clock punches for internal employees weekly or more frequent as requested

Remote desktop support for up to 20 work stations.

Configure and maintain user profiles, adding or removing as necessary and configuring security protocols for server file sharing access.

Notify owner of any hardware related issues and troubleshoot system or network failures.

Install new hardware, maintain system hardware, or upgrade current systems as required.

Run weekly maintenance of software updates on all workstations.

Design, maintain and expand company websites as requested. Monitor performance and use tools such as analytics and trends for search engine optimization to drive website traffic. Write blog posts using SEO guidelines to drive traffic.

Maintain stock of miscellaneous office supplies and print necessary forms and brochures, such as applications, employee manuals, etc., as supply runs low. Track production of materials for expense reports.

Process, track, prepare and ship material order requests from satellite locations, log orders and submit expense reports for processing.

Greet customers as they enter the office, assist with applicants in the application process.

Interview applicants and review any paperwork, verifying it is finished correctly, and give applicants an overview of work available that matches their skills and availability. Document each step of the process to ensure completion and create a chain of accountability.

Compile and submit reports for daily, weekly, or monthly employee performance logs for review.

Keep notes in a database for each applicant for other recruiters to review should they need to speak with this applicant to maintain flow of information.

Process paperwork, and file appropriately.

Create documents and excel sheets for company use to track or disseminate information.

Update office paperwork as necessary with new government forms as they are released.

Client check-ins every morning to ensure that all workers show up to location. Work with management on location for requests for new workers or issues with current workers, and help address those issues.

Write job descriptions for job openings that do not have a description. Use descriptions to write and post advertisements for current job openings. Maintain and repost these advertisements as they expire. Take down old openings that are no longer available.

Complete Idemia fingerprinting appointments, with a focus on good customer service. Ensure proper procedures for verifying identity, and accurately take electronic fingerprints for Idemia vendor service.

Maintain and manage social media profiles for two companies. Respond to all social media correspondence appropriately, answering any questions and offering good customer service. Research and deploy effective methods for content creation to increase audience base.

Monitor multiple email addresses for applications, customer service issues, tasks and requests and respond to them accordingly.

Research and implement management requests on a case by case basis to determine viability and cost.

Occasionally travel to satellite locations to deploy or troubleshoot software or hardware.

Essentials Skills

Strong skills in Microsoft Office suit of programs

Knowledge of HTML coding structure

Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Windows 7 and more recent releases

Knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting

Knowledge of IPv4 Internet Protocols and networking

Excellent customer service skills

Attention to detail, and strong organizational skills

Familiarity with office equipment, such as VoIP phones, printers and copiers, etc.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Comptia A+ Certification preferred

Comptia Networking+ Certification preferred

1 year experience in IT management and troubleshooting

2 years of customer service
