We are seeking an ERP Software Developer specializing in Lawson to contribute to our agile team, working to implement and improve our use of ERP software at the Laboratory. The successful candidate will work closely with an agile team to design and develop new functionality as well as automate testing of new software applications.

The ERP Software Developer is responsible for analyzing, documenting and amending software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and for providing status reports where required.

Responsibilities

Independently or with other agile team members, conceptualize and develop new software programs and applications according to specifications.

Create integrations/middle-tier in a scalable, efficient manner

Design and implement automated test cases

Collaborate with agile team members to clarify understanding and raise issues/concerns throughout the software development life cycle.

Support the team in the design of user stories and acceptance criteria

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary)

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

2. Proficiency in, at least, one object oriented programming language

3. Demonstrated ability to convert designs into user-accepted solutions through teamwork

4. Ability to write and maintain streamlined, effective documentation

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both technical and functional.)

6. Exposure to Agile (Scrum) methodology and Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD)

7. Experience with ERP solutions required
