Job Title: Accountancy Specialist

Location: Wilmington, DE

Duration: 12 Months contract


Responsible for finance business partnering for select G&A functions and executing required financial planning, reporting and close activities for the Functional Support team. This role includes responsibility for financial reporting and analytics of budgets and actual results for the functional areas supported by Business Planning & Analysis team.

Major Responsibilities

• Prepare efficient and accurate financial analysis of budgets, forecasts and actual results for review by Senior Management

• Provide reporting, analysis and accounting close support for two other functional business partners on the team.

• Perform month-end close activities and communicate financial results in a timely manner

• Coordinate SG&A allocation process across multiple functions in support of TA resource driven and OBU cost reporting.

• Responsible for obtaining a solid understanding of key business drivers and risk factors within supported functions and applying this knowledge to financial budgets and analyses

• Ensure adherence to all SOX 404 controls and local financial reporting requirements

• Drive simplification of Finance processes and foster a culture of best practice sharing

• Support the preparation of presentations and financial analysis used for Senior Leadership reviews

• Perform ad-hoc reporting requirements and participate in special Finance projects

Minimum Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting

• 0-3 years of financial experience

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent PC skills and experience using financial systems, preferably Hyperion Planning, SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong analytical ability

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including oral and written

• High degree of accuracy with attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes teamwork to meet deliverables

• Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage multiple and frequently changing priorities

• Demonstrated capability to meet strict deadlines with a high level of ownership and strong sense of urgency

• Confidence in working with Senior Management
