Inventory Control Coordinator

We are seeking a diligent and responsible inventory control coordinator to join our growing team. In this position, you will receive, store, organize, monitor and safeguard inventory. You will also need to update inventory records through the use of a computerized database system to ensure accurate levels of stock. Your primary objectives will include being accountable for all inventory levels to meet daily distribution demands while minimizing excess supply.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Prepare and participate in physical inventory

- Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights

- Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired

- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel

- Receive and issue finished goods into computer database

- Close shop packets received and purge computer database

- Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Required Education and Experience

- A high school diploma or a GED

- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Internet Browsers.

- Minimum of five years of inventory control experience

Preferred Education and Experience

- Some supervisory or team lead experience

- Previous purchasing experience
