Position Description: We are looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about data discovery and data analysis for reporting and documentation purposes. Problem identification, data gathering, and data cleansing in order to develop thoughtful analysis and provide solutions to complex business questions is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate meetings are critical as is the ability to collaborate and communicate in a large enterprise environment – ability to collaborate effectively across company departments, as well as the IT team is essential. Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various internal/external stakeholders and systems and advanced understanding of best practice analysis, programming and visualization techniques is required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Mining customer and associate data across various systems to arrive at specific and crucial information mapping for enterprise organization.

Experience analyzing, working with vast amounts of data in on premise and third party cloud hosted environments.

Document and manage process within metadata inventory tool throughout data lifecycle.

Data onboarding & data change management workflows.

Responsible for maintaining customer and associate master data attributes and its lineage to support the regulatory and compliance requirements.

Maintenance of business data terms and definitions, technical metadata and data lineage.

Ensure metadata is clear & concise and certified by the Business and Technical Stewards.

Experience monitoring compliance with the data governance operating model and ensuring that changes in metadata are captured centrally and are kept up to date.

Conduct data analysis and data profiling on critical data sets.

Support and maintain the implementation of data policies & standards, business rules, data definitions, testing depth & data quality controls.

Work with Security and Legal team to ensure data lineage and quality and security controls are fully implemented for all Critical Data.

Participate in efforts to drive adoption of Data Governance process in the security and compliance area.

Support additional projects as required, working with management & technology to implement process enhancement linked to key customer and associate Data initiatives.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field. Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.

Experience working with large amounts of data and data analytics tools, specifically in data management and/or data operations functions.

Experience with process monitoring, data quality management, master data, business & technical metadata, data profiling, and reference data management.

Experience with documenting the standards, processes and methodology.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently & effectively in a time critical environment, meeting day to day business deliverables as well as assisting the team in project deliverables.
