Construction company looking for an estimator. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience with a general contractor. It does not have to be estimating experience. A project engineer/project manager seriously interested in and suited for estimating would be a fit as well as a candidate with estimating experience. Must have strong interpersonal skills and accuracy with numbers as well as attention to detail. Must be comfortable with and excited about a lot of phone time working on bids with subcontractors. Responsible for specific divisions of a project throughout the estimating process: soliciting subs, managing contact lists, quantity take-off, internal estimates, bid day scope sheets, etc.

Bottom line requirements we need notes on with candidate submittal:

1. 2+ years of general construction experience.

2. Interest in estimating and accuracy with numbers along with attention to detail.

3. Experience with basic estimating software and excel is preferred.
