Job Duties including but not limited to:

-Performs a variety of vascular laboratory studies, including: carotid duplex, abdominal and extremity arterial duplex, renal and visceral artery duplex, extremity graft surveillance duplex, venous duplex, oculoplethysmography (OPG), peripheral arterial pulse volume recordings and segmental pressures, and venous airplethysmography.

-Performs portable studies in the Vascular Lab, at the patient’s bedside, in the Operating Room as well as in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the discretion of the Vascular Chief.

Supports Endovenous Therapy Ablation procedures in the Vascular Lab as well as other areas that support the Heart, Lung & Vascular Center that supports the needs of the Vascular Team.

-Maintains the vascular laboratory quality assurance database which involves weekly continuing comparison of the results of vascular laboratory studies to

16 those of arteriogram, CT scans, MR scans, and operative finding and management of an ongoing database

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Completion of the following:

-Graduate from an academic program for Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)


-Must have 24 months experience within the past 36 months working as a Vascular Technologist.


-National Background Investigation

-Must be US Citizen

-Reliable transportation to and from work site

License/Certification and Training:

-Certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.

-Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) from American Heart Association

-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association


-Monday to Friday 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM
