Job Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for delivering global IT services to all Open iT departments in the Philippines, the US, and Norway.

The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Manage information technology and computer systems

Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations

Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance

Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures

Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time

Audit systems and assess their outcomes

Preserve assets, information security and control structures

Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.

Three to five years hands-on experience with Windows and Unix/ Linux system administration

Data management and infrastructure background, with experience in storage, security, business continuity and disaster recovery.

Ability to manage personnel

Project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent

Knowledge in IT Service Management and other process frameworks (ITIL V3)

Microsoft, ITIL, A+, or Cisco certifications

Experience in managing finances, costs, revenue and budget
