Major purpose: Under general supervision assists in administering and coordinating activities involving the acceptance, monitoring, and performance of contracts and subcontracts of a less complex nature between the company and customers. Major functions: 1. Participates in the preparation of proposals, the development of contractual terms and conditions and the negotiation and administration of contracts.

2. Establishes initial contract files – review and analyze.

3. Assists Senior Contracts Managers as necessary.

4. Coordinates OCI, Teaming Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.

5. Aids in the preparation of the contract/cost/pricing volume of a proposal.

6. Serves as primary interface with customer’s negotiator/Contracting Officer.

7. Prepares correspondence to customers.

8. Identifies contract changes and other issues and communicates to management accordingly.

9. Provides follow-up on accounts

10. Participates in program reviews.

Technical/Functional skills:

Education/Experience/Licenses etc.: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent field plus 0 – 2 years of related experience is required, or the equivalent level of experience and/or training.

General knowledge of contract practices and regulations to establish initial contracts; conduct contract negotiations; review and analyze contracts is preferred. Requires the ability to read and understand relative government documentation such as Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). Must have ability to develop routine Terms & Conditions (Ts&Cs). Must be able to effectively interface with program managers and technical staff, and keep department Contracts Manager informed on all issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information. Active status US DoD Secret clearance (or higher) is required.
