Job Description

Whom are we looking for?

We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and internationally-minded people who are interested in technology, business development and sales. Prior experience in sales, technology or start-ups is desirable but not essential. The role best suits new and recent graduates who are keen to develop their knowledge and experience of sales and international business.

Given that our product measures the effort that teams make as they write software, we are results-oriented and pay a lot of attention to the work we are putting into our jobs – so the work you do will be highly visible to the whole team.

What does the role involve?

Our graduate scheme is full-time and includes a comprehensive training and development programme based in the US office in Midtown, NYC. You will also have the chance to regularly visit our HQ in London, UK.

You can expect to be doing a mix of projects and ad hoc work, as well as supporting the senior team as they demonstrate the product at events and business meetings. You will learn a great deal about the theory and practice of running a Cloud technology business and apply practical tactics and techniques that are intrinsic to a technical sales and role.

Responsibilities of the role include the below areas. All necessary training and support will be provided.

Inside sales

Identifying prospective customers

Supporting maintenance of CRM system

Administering deals including preparing presentations and contracts

Appointment coordination

Networking and telemarketing

Maintaining sales reports and forecasts

Field sales

Attending client sales meetings

Applying negotiation skills

Contracting

Relationship building

Maintaining personal sales pipeline

Revenue forecasting

Closing deals (after 6-12 months in the company)

Being a growing company, employees’ work is not limited to their remit; there will be a need to fulfill miscellaneous tasks. This also presents an opportunity to gain experience in areas of interest, e.g. market research, writing content, social media management, various types of analytics and recruitment.
