# Job Description: Loader / Unloader

## Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking **Loader / Unloader** to assist with the loading and unloading of trucks. The successful candidate will work alongside the driver to safely handle boxes, furniture, and other goods during pickups and deliveries. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

## Key Responsibilities

* Load and unload boxes, furniture, and other goods safely and efficiently.

* Assist the driver with pickups and deliveries at various locations.

* Secure items in the truck to prevent damage during transportation.

* Handle goods with care to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.

* Follow all safety procedures while lifting and moving heavy items.

* Help keep the truck clean and organized.

* Communicate effectively with the driver and customers when necessary.

## Requirements

* Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more).

* Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor throughout the workday.

* Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

* Strong teamwork and communication skills.

* Previous moving, warehouse, or loading/unloading experience is an asset but not required.

* Willingness to travel with the driver to various job sites.

## Work Environment

* Primarily working outdoors and at customer locations.

* Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy goods.

* Travel with the driver throughout the day to complete deliveries and pickups.

## Compensation
