Dietary Technician/Supervisor

We're seeking to fill the role of Dietary Supervisor.
Starting at $18 per hour based on skills and experience.
Schedule Available: Monday - Friday; 11am to 7:30pm plus Every Other Weekend required.
Schedule Available: Monday - Friday; 6am to 2:30pm plus Every Other Weekend required.
Dietary Supervisor Introduction:
The Dietary Technician/Supervisor will work with the Food Service Director to oversee the menu system, tray line, and dietary aides. Responsibilities also include administrative and supervisory duties to ensure accurate, safe, and nutritious food delivery.
Dietary Supervisor Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Food service experience required. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Knowledge of therapeutic diets.
ServSafe certification preferred.
Dietary Supervisor Job Summary:
The Supervisor will work with the Food Service Director to accomplish the highest quality Dietary service. The Supervisor will perform administrative and supervisory duties to ensure efficient and profitable operation. This includes preparing and cooking both gourmet and family style meals by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff.
Communicate in a positive, caring, and helpful manner with residents, family members, and other staff.
Work effectively within a team, receiving and offering direction and feedback as needed.
Manage a staff of 15-18 dietary aides.
Support the Dietitian with resident menus and tray cards.
Manage resident tray-line production to assures 100% accuracy of the resident’s tray specifications.
Understand and communicate knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling.
Ensures that infection control practices are always maintained and followed.
Work other jobs within the Dietary Department as necessary.
