Full-time job opportunity in the Tulsa, OK metropolitan area. Main worksite location: 2160 S Garnett Rd, Tulsa, OK 74129. The Wellness Program Manager designs, implements, and oversees comprehensive wellness programming that supports the physical, emotional, and community well-being of UMA Tulsa participants. This role provides day-to-day leadership for wellness staff, volunteers, and contractors; ensures high-quality program delivery; and maintains alignment with organizational goals, safety standards, and grant requirements. This role is also responsible for wellness program budget planning and financial controls, including managing instructor/contractor rates and ensuring spending aligns with approved budgets, organizational policy, and grant allowability.
Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and support instructors, facilitators, volunteers, and contractors within the wellness portfolio.
Conduct performance check-ins and evaluations; set clear goals, expectations, and accountability measures.
Coordinate schedules, class coverage, and assignment of responsibilities.
Manage instructor, facilitator, contractor, and temporary staff rates within approved budget parameters; recommend rate adjustments based on scope, credentials, market benchmarks, and internal equity.
Ensure programming is culturally relevant, accessible, trauma-informed as appropriate, and evidence-based.
Monitor and document compliance with grant deliverables, outcomes, and reporting requirements.
Partner with administrative staff to collect, organize, and maintain program data required for grants.
Develop and manage the wellness program budget (annual and grant-specific), including forecasting, monthly variance monitoring, and corrective action plans as needed.
Coordinate marketing and communication strategies to promote wellness programs (social media, flyers, events, outreach).
Represent UMA Tulsa at community events, meetings, and outreach opportunities as needed.
Other related duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in public health, wellness, nutrition, physical therapy, or related field.
Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
Requires at least one year of experience.
