What you'll do as an Electronic Design Coordinator:
Originate electronic designs & coordinate printed communications materials & publications ranging from black & white to full color, & in some agencies, also designs forms.
Originate electronic design of various types of documents (e.g., forms, brochures, publications, etc.) in accordance with Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) Policy, standards, &/or United States Postal Service regulations.
Research & compile form design, layout &/or functionality based on customer's needs.
Utilize Adobe InDesign to create &/or update files as requested by customers.
Utilize database to track all forms, items & orders (e.g., enter new orders, assign tracking numbers, update order status, close out completed orders, etc.).

Option 1:
24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in use of electronic graphic equipment & available software
AND 24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in visual communications design &/or electronic design.
Option 2:
-Or completion of associate core program in visual communication technology or industrial design technology
AND 24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in visual communication design &/or electronic design.
Option 3:
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in visual communications with emphasis on graphic design/industrial design, &/or fine arts with emphasis on graphic design
AND 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in visual communications design &/or electronic design.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
