Systems Engineer

Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support two secure cloud-based applications and their infrastructure. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team of developers, cybersecurity engineers, database administrators, and architects in an Agile environment. After one year, participation in an on-call rotation is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and integrate secure systems and cloud services.

Support Linux administration, patching, and maintenance.

Troubleshoot networking, firewall, and cloud infrastructure issues.

Collaborate with security engineers to remediate vulnerabilities.

Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Ensure systems align with architecture and requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

11-16 years of systems engineering experience.

Strong Linux command-line administration skills.

Experience with Bash and Python scripting.

Agile team experience.

Hands-on systems engineering and automation experience.

Preferred Skills:

AWS cloud environments.

Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet).

Networking (routing, VPNs, firewalls, subnets, ports).

Web Application Firewall (WAF) management.

Configuration management and monitoring tools (AIDE, Jenkins, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Nexus).

Cloud/non-cloud network integration and troubleshooting.
