Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and motivated Nurse Educator (RN) to provide clinical education and ongoing support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will promote the safe and effective use of medications and medical therapies while supporting patient adherence and improving health outcomes through evidence-based education.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient and caregiver education on disease states, prescribed therapies, and treatment plans.
Deliver training on medication administration, injection techniques, infusion therapies, and medical devices.
Develop and facilitate educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
Assess individual patient learning needs and create personalized education plans.
Monitor patient progress, treatment adherence, and clinical outcomes while providing ongoing support.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case managers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable privacy legislation.
Support patient assistance and reimbursement programs, where applicable.
Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards, healthcare regulations, and company procedures.
Stay informed of current clinical guidelines, emerging therapies, and industry best practices.
Participate in team meetings, training initiatives, and continuous quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
Required
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable Canadian province.
Minimum of 2–5 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and patient education skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally, as required.
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
Experience in oncology, diabetes, immunology, cardiology, neurology, critical care, or specialty pharmaceuticals.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical nursing, patient support programs, home healthcare, or clinical education.
Knowledge of reimbursement and patient assistance programs.

Work Environment
This position is primarily field-based and may require travel to hospitals, clinics, physicians' offices, and patient homes within an assigned territory. Occasional virtual patient education and remote meetings may also be required.
