About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.

Develop and optimize cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses.

Integrate data from internal systems and third-party services.

Create reliable datasets for analytics, reporting, and machine learning.

Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data teams.

Improve data quality, governance, security, and automation.

Optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.

Contribute to data architecture and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong SQL skills and experience with Python, Java, or Scala.

Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.

Knowledge of data warehousing, distributed systems, and modern data engineering practices.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Experience with Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar technologies.

Experience in fintech or financial services.

Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and data governance best practices.
