Certified Surgical Technician

Schedule: Shift: 10:45 AM Contract Length: 10 weeks

Assignment Details Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements Certification as a Surgical Technician Aseptic technique proficiency Ability to handle surgical instruments and equipment

Roles & Responsibilities Maintain aseptic technique in the operating room. Set up required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned cases. Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures. Break down cases at the end of procedures and prepare the operating room for the next day's schedule. Be available for call on an assigned, scheduled basis as required by unit need.

Compliance / Notes Nurses can park in visitor parking and will need to enter on the North side then cross over to the South side and take the elevator to the 1st floor. Dedicated scrubs provided for travelers, matching staff colors. OR call rotation includes one 1st call and one 2nd call per month, along with one weekend day every other month.
