The Maintenance Supervisor will assess all damaged and non-functional equipment and make decisions regarding the corrective action needed to repair and fix said equipment. Responsibilities include delegating assignments and instructing maintenance technicians.
Key Competencies:
Lead Maintenance team's response to production and facility needs (i.e. equipment breakdown, machine upgrades, and/or adjustments).
Able to provide hands-on support & coaching for the Maintenance team technicians in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and systems, such as PLC's (Allen-Bradley) and cookers & spice delivery systems, and spiral freezers.
Skilled in repairing and troubleshooting all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission components/equipment and able to transfer this knowledge to Maintenance technicians.
Skilled in performing repairs on facility utility systems (i.e. hot water boilers, and ammonia systems, electrical MCC) and able to transfer this knowledge to Maintenance technicians.
Ensure the preventative maintenance functions are scheduled and completed by the Maintenance team.
Excellent communication skills demonstrated through collaboration with maintenance and production management
Knowledge of CMMS system to ensure proper recording of equipment parts usage/needs, PM completions, work orders and daily activities.

Responsible, organized, and self-motivated Qualifications:
5 years' experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting
Prior maintenance experience in the food or meat industry
2- 4 years in a supervisory capacity
Experienced in plumbing, 480v electrical, welding, refrigeration, hydraulic and pneumatic controls
Experience with PLC's and welding, a plus
HACCP, Lock out/ Tag out, GMP, Safety, and Sanitation training
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Able to work in a refrigerated environment
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Equal Opportunity Employer
