Job Description Machine Operator Forging - Second Shift Machine Operator Forging - Second Shift Walor North America is looking for a Shear Machine Operator to join its Billet Prep team.

In this role, you will be responsible for improving the quality of product and press efficiency for our Columbus, Ohio facility.

This position will work 3:00pm - 11:15pm, Monday through Friday.

What you will doOperation of machine and secondary equipment, including feeding material manuallyLoading of steel into sawing equipment as required using overhead craneMaterial handling with a forkliftSupport department personnel and tasksMeasuring/Documenting of product produced to ensure quality standardsPerforming required operator level maintenance tasksAssisting maintenance during major breakdownsSorting non-conforming product (as required)Cleaning equipment and surrounding areasSpecial projects as determined by area manager/supervisor/team leadAdherence to 5S principlesReporting/Documenting equipment related maintenance issues to supervisor/maintenance departmentSupply maintenance request documentation for breakdownsCompleting required department documentationFulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilitiesMaintaining confidentiality of proprietary informationAdherence to all written and verbal directives of the manager/supervisor/team leadAdherence to Stop, Call, Wait protocolOther duties as assigned by supervisor What you will bringHigh School Diploma or GEDPrint readingBasic math skills What is in it for you?
