We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Database & .NET Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise-level reporting solutions and web applications. You will work closely with business users to gather requirements, optimize database performance, and ensure best practices are maintained across our development pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting & Database Development: Develop new SSRS reports and database objects against complex enterprise databases (both SQL Server and Oracle). Modify and enhance existing reports and objects assigned.

• Application Development: Create, configure, and maintain .NET Core MVC applications.

• Performance Optimization: Demonstrate proficiency in performance tuning to ensure high quality and speed of SSRS reports. Thoroughly test all reports and database objects prior to user acceptance testing.

• Power BI & CI/CD: Publish reports to Power BI service workspaces and manage pipelines to deploy reports to various environments. Create, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.

• Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Apply Agile development principles. Work directly with business users to gather and document requirements, ensuring technical solutions align perfectly with business needs.

• Code Management & Version Control: Use Azure DevOps for tracking work items, providing project statuses, and estimating timelines. Utilize GIT for secure code repository management.

• Mentorship & Documentation: Ensure best practices are maintained, document all work for future reference, and mentor team members on standards, database design, and IT processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of related professional work experience.

• Education: A 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study is highly desired.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Database Expertise:

- In-depth experience with SQL Server databases and T-SQL using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

- In-depth experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL using SQL Developer.

- Extensive experience handling large datasets, data modeling, and relational/multidimensional database design.

• Development & ETL:

- Strong SSRS development knowledge and experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to perform ETL operations.

- In-depth experience with .NET Core, MVC, C#, dependency injection, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Interview Requirements

• Candidate must present a valid state or federally issued photo ID during the interview (e.g., driver's license, passport).

Work Requirements:

• Work Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (40 hours/week)

• Location: Dauphin County, PA (Local area)
